"I worked with you prior and you were great. I wrote the
book DYING TO BE YOUNG. It was published by Nightingale Press, a
small house. I reached #1 on Amazon's best seller list and Top 20
of Barnes and Noble within 60 days of release...I look forward to
working with you again."

"I
used your service 18 months ago and got a book contract because of it!
It will be called Cracking the Parenting Code and will be
released in January 2009...I appreciate Publishers and Agents so much.
They got me started in my new career as a PUBLISHERS AUTHOR!
Thanks again for your excellence of service."

"I
was extremely pleased with Gini's service and I am thrilled with the
agent/manager and then publisher I found for my book. I believe
this is a wonderful avenue for new writers to reach publishers. I
still remember the day that I sent out my letter to publishers and
agents. I actually had to hire someone to come in and help me
answer all the emails. What fun it was."

"I
was too pressed for time to research and distribute individual queries
to agents for my second book, so I used Publishers and Agents to help me
find a literary agent who would be a good match. I received over
25 requests for a proposal and six agents offered representation.
The one I went with secured a deal at a very appropriately matched
travel publisher and I'm very happy with how the process worked
throughout."

"Being
first time authors we tried repeatedly to get published on our own but
were rejected by every publisher we applied to. However, after
reading an article about Gini's service in the Wall Street Journal,
we gave it a try and hit a home run. After the query went out, we had 16
publishers asking to review our material, including all major business
book publishers. After many conversations, we landed with John
Wiley & Sons and the book hit the #1 Sales Management Book and the #1
Customer Service Book in the country as rated by Amazon.com. After
that we tried Gini's PR service and now we are appearing on numerous
regional and national radio programs. We would recommend this
service to anyone."

"I
sent out fifty book proposals to 25 agents and 25 specifically
identified publishers in the spring of 2004 and received not one
affirmative response. I decided to use PublishersAgents after a
strong recommendation from a friend. I received 12 responses from
publishers requesting the book proposal or full manuscripts. Of
those, I received two offers and my book Making Room in Our Hearts:
Keeping Family Ties Through Open Adoption will be published in
November by Routledge. I am very thankful for the expertise and
wide and current database that Gini possesses. Of all things I
have spent my money on during this process, her service reaped the most
rewards. I only wish I had done it sooner."

"The
overall response from the query was terrific. But more surprising
were the friendly emails I received from the publishers regardless of
their level of interest. In total I received abut 25 responses
with three asking for book proposals -- and these three were the big
guys. A couple of weeks ago I signed an agreement with McGraw-Hill
for Understanding Asset Allocation (September 2006 publication
date). As you can imagine, I am quite excited. Thank you very much
for your help, and I will surely be coming back to you for more help
with article queries."

"I used your service
earlier this year to promote a book I am now publishing with Triumph
Books/Chicago,
a division of Random House - OUR TEAM - OUR DREAM: A
CUB'S FAN'S JOURNEY INTO BASEBALL'S GREATEST ROMANCE. The e-query went out at NOON
on January 25, 2007 and by 3:30 p.m. I had received more than 60 e-mails -
including 13 serious requests for a full book proposal and treatment.
The other 40 or so included some complimentary remarks...fun and
colorful comments about the "Cubs" and some offered to pass the query
forward to associates. Anyway -- very impressed with your
service. Very happy with the first day of results...the proposals
are already in the mail to 13 expectant editors. I never could've
done this myself...unless I had at least a few months to spare (which I
don't)...Thank you -- will definitely be recommending your service to
others...All is appreciated."

"I've seen some great results through using P&A. As an editor
working with a number of first-time authors, I'm grateful for having a
highly effective vehicle for getting their works to publishers and
agents. We've had incredible responses within days of the query
going out... Two authors now have contracts (one with Tarcher/Penguin),
and two others have had their manuscripts reviewed by the William Morris
Agency. Another author picked up a high-powered New York agent
who's doing a great job getting the book before major
publishers...Always a pleasure (and a relief!) to refer P&A. Many
thanks for your good offices!"

"By the way, your service sold yet another book for me.
My initial email blast
sold the book to Adams Media. When that didn't work out, I got the
rights back and another email blast re-sold it to another publisher.
Hooray! For a
number of reasons my agent
had never approached the
second publisher but they loved it, and gave me a decent
advance. So now you've
sold 3 books for me--including the same book twice. Is that a record?"

"My e-query went out early Monday morning. By 9 a.m. in Colorado,
I had 10 requests to see the proposal or manuscript. By 4 p.m., I
had 20. In all, I had 13 publishers and over 20 agents showing
interest. I received 2 offers from publishers WITHIN 2 WEEKS of
the query going out, and I picked what I thought was the best one.
The book was then scheduled to come out half a year later. Wos!
I never would have imagined
so much quick response. (I had waited 9 months to hear from 6
publishers before this.)
One of the reasons I think this service is so effective is
that queries go to people at the top. In 3 cases, acquiring
editors showed interest when others lower on the chain had previously
rejected the book. In one case, I received a response from an
editorial assistant saying no when 3 weeks earlier the executive editor
had offered me a contract!
Thanks, P &
A, for opening up these doors!"

prompt service and honesty. You covered every aspect of my needs
to find a publisher for my first novel. I received a flood of
gracious responses to the (appropriately) hilariously funny equery
letter you penned and send out. The responses included dozens of
agents who have showed enthusiastic interest plus several publishers who
requested copies of Making Waves, which, I had self-published a
minimum run for a business promotion years ago -- Gini, if only your

"I was told that finding an agent and much less a publisher was a
Herculean task, so I had nearly resigned myself to self-publishing my
book, HONEY, WHO SHRUNK OUR MONEY? However, Gini convinced me to send
out a query letter, since I had already made the effort to write a
proposal. Gini edited my proposal and wrote a query letter for me. Then,
she emailed it to her list of publishers and agents. I wasn't holding my
breath. I expected at most to get interest from maybe one or two agents
or publishers. You can imagine how surprised I was to get 58 responses
to the query letter from agents and publishers who wanted to see the
proposal. The publishers included Dearborn, John Wiley & Sons,
McGraw-Hill, Farrar, Straus, Giroux, St. Martins Press, Doubleday,
Harper Collins, and Random House. As you can imagine, I couldn't

"The response has been overwhelming. So far over 20 companies want
to see the proposal or the full manuscript for The New World Order,
and additional requests are coming in all the time. Some say that
they are 'very very interested' and 'thank you, thank you,' and 'it
sounds absolutely fascinating.' I couldn't have asked for a more
positive response.
Even large companies like ICM have
requested the proposal -- not too shabby for an unpublished, unheard of,
first time author...I don't think it is any exaggeration to say that
there is no way on earth I could have achieved this level of response
without your excellent service. The little extra it costs to have
you write the query letter could prove to be the best investment a
person could make if they are serious about a career in writing.
Thanks again and all my best to you."

good way...Thank you! Thank you!...Already I've had one call from

me. OH MY GOD!!!! This is in addition to the many who
want to see sample pages or the entire manuscript...I could not have

"So far so good for me. I got about 25 interested
agents...Surprisingly most agents actually requested the proposal in
e-mail, in contrary to all the books I read about having to send them in
regular mail. :) It will take me a couple more days to
finish my final polishing of the proposal and then I will be busy
sending them...Thank you again for your wonderful service. It's a
god-send for a new comer!."

"SHOCK and AWE are the only words I can use to describe your service!
This morning (within minutes of your e-mailing), I received very nice
responses from over 40 publishers for my four humor books. 14 of
them (now up to 17) including many of the largest and most prominent,
want me to send them my books ASAP. And these just weren't junior
editors either, these were senior editors and even the publishers
themselves. Very few times in life do people deliver what they
promise; even rarer are those individuals who deliver much more.
You are definitely in the latter category!"

that are interested have us absolutely elated...Based on this response,
I can't wait to have you query my music book and screenplays that I've
been working on...Thank you so much!"

"I've gotten A LOT of yesses so far...Quite a number of large publishers
have asked to see my proposal and/or manuscript for my memoir THE PLACE
YOU COME BACK TO, and I've have interest from quite a few agents (and
many more, now that I've told them about the publishers)...Many thanks."

"I truly admire what you have created. It's a boon for the writer
or artist without connections, without an agent, just knocking at doors
that seem to be always closed, and with the Internet, and e-mail around
the world now, anyone, anywhere, even in far away Taiwan or China or
Japan, can get access this way. It's a quiet miracle of the publishing
business...It's wonderful. It's an amazing way to break through
brick walls. You deserve some kind of Nobel prize for this...And
thanks for all your help with my book IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO BEGIN
AGAIN."

"I highly recommend this service to anyone, like me, who is out there
thinking if only I could get someone's attention, I know I could sell
this project. The service delivers exactly what it says it will
deliver. Gini revised and tweaked my letter of submission for my
true crime book on a Monday, sent it out on a Tuesday, and on Wednesday,
I had 11 publishers and at least 30 agents screaming to see more.
Highly valuable service and worth every cent."

"I've gotten about 80 responses so far for my memoir BULLETS, BROADS,
AND BOOZE....Six of them want about 60 pages...four of them want the
entire manuscript and two want me to send some stories via e-mail, so
I've been up to my ears getting things as ship-shape as a I can...THANK
YOU!"

"The overwhelming response I've received to the letter about my book
proposal (and am still receiving) has been, well, overwhelming to me.
I feel impelled to thank you profoundly for steering me in the right
direction and for plugging me into your finely-honed system and database
in gaining the attention and agents and publishers for I'm Fed Up
with Politics as Usual...So effective is your approach that even
some of the turn-downs had non-boilerplate nice things to say....This is
a stunning affirmation of your approach to the publishing industry!
Of course, the positive responses said something even nicer: 'Please
send proposal via e-mail."

Thanks."

my book proposal for PEACE AND HARMONY CONSCIOUSNESS. I have
gotten 10 positive responses on my query that I just sent out the

I've gotten for my book without you!...Your service stands as one of the
distinguished few on the Internet where one truly gets what they pay for

And your guidance throughout, exceeded my expectations! It's been

don't respond to unsolicited e-mail. But your query amused me'....So
far your help is just enormous and very effective. And I am very
grateful....Then, when I used your service to contact agents, I got 97

"Let
me strongly recommend a service which I used and with which I have been
extremely satisfied. Publishersandagents@aol.com is an email query
service headed by Gini Scott. She works up a solid query letter for you,
emails it to film producers (for scripts) and agents, as well as book
publishers (editors) and book agents. You will be amazed at the response
you will get from her emails (they come directly to you from the
contacts). This is by far better and easier than looking up the contacts
yourself and contacting them each individually."

of my e-mail going out (ON A WEEKEND) start replying to all the interest

Though I wasn't even sure if there was a commercial market for this book,

the timely nature of my book. Two asked to represent me, and I

"Your e-mail query service
was great. I’m so excited by the quick response I got from about 50
editors at major publishers, most in New York. About a dozen wanted
to see my manuscript, one that weekend, and many others wrote back to tell
me they thought my story should be told, though it wasn’t quite right for
their list and they referred me to other editors. I decided to do an
e-query mailing to provide leads for my agent, who wasn’t able to get any
interest after a year. I used a brief query letter to tell my story
about how my daughter got murdered by her ex-husband who is now in jail.
I also described how I have been seeking Congressional support for a bill
to protect children from violent spouses who serious injure or kill their
partners. Now I have several major publishers considering my story
and I feel very confident it will be published by one of them next year."

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Though we have an
agent, he hasn't been able to sell our book for the past year. So we
though we'd supplement his efforts with a mailing, and the results were
fantastic. Our query went to about 125 editors, and within 2 days, 7
of them wanted to see the manuscript. And these were editors
from major companies, such as Harper Collins, Random House, Penguin
Putnam, Bantam, and Simon and Schuster. Since then our agent has
sent off our proposal to these editors, and we feel quite confident that
now we will sell our book."

"Publishers and Agents was just what I needed when I needed it. I
had worked hard for several years on my historical novel, Etta,
and was looking for an agent. But it was difficult to go through
all the lists and
to discern who was reputable and who wasn't. And
besides, with my career and family to look after, who had that kind of
time...Gini Scott and her people helped me with my pitch letter and
provided me with an extensive list of agents. On the first day the
letter went out, I had over 60 responses in my email box. In some
cases, even the agents who said they couldn't represent the book were
helpful and supportive. Eventually, after several offers, I signed
with ICM...Etta will be published by Ballantine in the Spring of 2009.
The folks there have been great to me and the experience has been life
changing...I'm not saying everyone will get the results I did, but if
you are truly read for an agent, I would recommend Publishers and Agents
to anyone who is serious about a literary career...I couldn't have done
it without Publishers and Agents. If you've got a book that will
sell, hiring Gini could be the best investment you ever make."
