We can help you make that connection with our submission service to publishers, editors, producers, and agents via e-mail or postal mail. A page is devoted to our growing number of SUCCESS STORIES!!! Among them are a 6 figure deal for a much talked about book -- You'll Never Nanny in this Town Again to Crown; we helped the writer find a publisher and top agent. Another major deal was for Junia: the Lost Apostle to Wiley.
Our emphasis is on mainstream major and medium-sized publishers, though we have some independent, specialty, and university publishers. Most are in the U.S., but we also have contacts in Canada and the U.K. Our agent database features agents who deal with these publishers and who are active, legitimate agents, where we have checked their credentials. We now have a database of booksellers from several organizations including the American Booksellers Association and Independent Booksellers Association -- about 1000, so you can contact them directly about selling or promoting your book. Plus we have just added a database of about 300 book sales reps both in the U.S. and internationally, so you can arrange to have them represent your book.
We emphasize providing a personalized service that includes consulting on writing an effective query and how to best respond to interested editors, agents, and producers. Here's a more detailed description on how the process works.
Our databases include about 1200 editors at major and medium-sized publishers, 900 literary agents, 1700 film producers and production companies, 900 film agents and managers, 300 syndicates, 200 children's book editors, and 150 agents who handle children's books. We target your query based on the type of project, provide guidelines for writing a good query, and personally review your letter before sending it out to make sure it will be effective. We can write a query for you, too, as well as assist with your proposal. We use a dedicated mail server to send out your query quickly and efficiently.
Once your book is published, we can help with promotion, too, by sending your release to 16,000+ members of the media, including major newspapers, magazines, and TV and radio news and talk shows.
We have added an agent assessment and locator service to help you choose an agent or contact particular agents. Our publisher assessment and locator service will help you learn more about the publishers interested in your book and choose which publishers to work with. Or use this service to contact particular editors.
You'll see comments about our service from over 240 previous clients and industry pros in our kudos section, and some clients' newly published books are featured in success stories and the latest news section. Plus a front page business section article with a photo about our service appeared in the Contra Costa Times. Just put in the name of the writer Marton Dunai or Founder and Creative Director Gini Graham Scott to see the article.
We were featured in an article on using e-mail queries in the Wall Street Journal by Jeffrey Trachtenberg (A short excerpt is in the latest news). Here's a plug from Dan Poynter's newsletter and a glowing article sent to dozens of writers' publications by one client, Marsha Marks.
