How Can We Help You Get Published?
Publishers and Agents provides a very effective service that can help you get your book published. First we help you write a professional query letter that will get noticed. When you are ready we email your book proposal or query letter to our extensive database of book publishers and agents.

Step 1:
Sign up for the service and send us your book proposal or query letter.
We provide a guide to help you write a powerful query letter. For an additional fee we can help you write the letter.
Step 2:
One of our editors will look over your letter and make suggestions for improvement.
Suggestions on fine-tuning and polishing your letter are included as part of this service. Our editors have a lot of experience writing query letters. They will help you avoid common mistakes and encourage you to write a powerful letter that will have a better chance at getting noticed.
Step 3:
We email your book proposal to our database of hundreds of book publishers and agents.
We regularly update our databases, so we are continually adding new contacts. Currently, our databases include about:
  • 950 non-fiction book publishers
  • 700 non-fiction book agents
  • 400 fiction book publishers
  • 550 fiction book agents
  • 250 children's book publishers
  • 250 children's book agents
  • 1350 film producers
  • 750 film agents
The publishers on our lists primarily include the major and medium-sized publishers who have major distribution, plus some of the up-and-coming smaller publishers. The agents on our lists are all legitimate non-fee charging agents, who have recognized credentials in the field.

We can configure our database to find publishers and/or agents who are interested in the type of book that you are writing. The actual number of contacts that your query goes out to is a subset of those above since we target your queries to editors and/or agents based on your type of book. We can also exclude individuals or companies you have already contacted.
Step 4:
Interested publishers and agents will reply directly to you.
When we email out your letter to our list of contacts, the email looks like it has come directly from you. Your email address is in the FROM field so interested publishers and/or agents will reply directly to you.

After emailing out your letter we will send you a report which includes the name and company of each contact queried.
